Stocking 65g...
I have a 65 gallon AGA(36x18x24) FOWLR, 15 gallon sump/refugium, 70 lbs lr, 30 lbs aragonite, 15 lbs crushed coral, 2 powersweep ph, 1 maxijet 1200, Aqua C remora skimmer, 196W pc.
My livestock is currently; yellow watchman goby, bicolor blenny, 3 neon gobies, 1 royal gramma, many snails and hermit crabs and 3 peppermint shrimp.
My question is am I close to (or reached) my stocking limit? My son (3 yrs old) insists on having "Nemo" and he would like two. There is someone here in Stratford who sells tank-raised true percs ($40 each). I do not want to overstock, most of my fish are very small, under 3" and I am wondering if it is starting to get crowded. Would it be OK to add the 2 percs? Anything else possible? I would like a banded goby (A. phalena) or another sand-sifter. Any suggestions?
I do like the bright colours on a flame angel but am going to be keeping corals in the near future. Is there another colourful fish that would fit in nicely in my tank, space permitting?
Thanks!

2 percs would not be a problem in there. to add more fish i would get a much bigger skimmer.

I do have a seaclone 150 that I slightly modified sitting around...but I may just use a spare 34 gallon tank if I want more fish. I would hate to overcrowd them!
Thanks, just wanted someone else's opinion, have to take the people at the LFS advice with a bag of salt!

are you talking overcrowding the fish or overcrowding the filtration of the tank.

Just make sure with that 192w of PC lighting you dont get an anemone for your "Nemos". It wont fair well, mine looked like junk after about a week. Then he got sucked into a powerhead and REALLY looked like junk. Since you have a sump, you can run a bigger skimmer and not have to look at the beast. I'd go that route. Just make sure you add the two at the same time, and try to make sure theyre different sizes by a little bit, and obviously in the same tank.
Also, Im not sure about canadian dollars, or what that transfers to. But Tank raised clowns here are about $14 a piece....

I did get two true percs (tank raised) $40 cdn each. They are doing great! I was thinking of upgrading my skimmer to an ASM G3. I may not have the sump room where my baffles are though. I have about 9'' x 12'' space to put one in unless I put one outside of my sump.

I was not planning on an anemone, even if I upgrade my lighting my tank is only 5 months old....I am trying my hand as soft corals, perhaps they will host one of those instead.
Thanks for all of the imput!

Around here, petco sells tank raised for $16. The better of the 2 non-specialty LFS sells(false) for $19. The worse of the 2 sells them for $25(and says her occies are percs) the other sells the true percs for $19, occies for $19, and "tank raised(maybe bred?) ocellaris clowns" for a whopping $38. I don't remember the prices on the other species since I've never been looking for one, though I'm pretty sure that the tomatos are over $30 as well(no TR logo). The black occies are $50 each. Which is one of the lowest prices I've seen them for. Go figure.
Anyway. . . FWIW, I've heard it is harder to get tank raised clowns to host with anything. Mine don't host anything, but it is great to watch them swimming around the tank like loons They also love to beg
