Snail Identification?

So the past week i was in puerto rico snorkeling on the vieques island and came across a snail that i cant identify or find any pictures of on the internet and was wondering if anyone else could help me. It is about an inch long, tan/white colored shell, but the thing that caught my eye is the shell had dark brown square outlines on its shell. perfect brown squares. probably about ten of them. any ideas? im new to the board and didnt know where to post this or if its a stupid question.

The color/location makes me think Fighting Conch maybe.
