Six Line Wrasse VS Sexy Shrimp
Alright, so i was at my LFS today and they had a really nice looking Six line wrasse for sale. I asked the owner if it would be ok in my nano tank (jester goby, and sexy shrimp) and she said that he would be fine and they are peaceful.... I get home and think about it a bit and decide to do some reasearch and it looks like people have mixed opinions of if they will eat the shrimp or not. So, should i keep him in my nano and see how things play out, or should i take him out? I have another 55g reef tank that he could go in, but would he be ok with a dragonet cowfish and a foxface? he is very small still so he souldnt be aggressive... Or would it just be best to take him back to the store? thanks!

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.

dragonet + 55 gallon tank alone is pretty iffy, adding a competitor for food would spell doom. I'd bring the sixline back to the LFS, to be honest. A larger shrimp would probably be better served, but the sexy shrimp is pretty small and more likely to be a problem.

long term is more the concern, I imagine the immediate future would be tolerable, but you could easily be surprised. I've seen fish swallow unbelievably large prey.

Yeah, that tang wouldnt really pester the shrimp, but there isnt a single tang species that's suitable for a 55 gallon tank. Are you considering one for that setup?
