Should I get a Dussumieri Tang


My buddy is willing to sell me his Dussumieri Tang for 65 bucks
Never heard of this type of tang.
Is this a good deal.
what are their temperment.

Gets up to 14 inches? ouch. Thats one of the fish where the 6' tank tang rule should be enforced. I dont usually stick by it, but that guy can get huge. If you got the room, I say hes cool looking.

I wouldnt get it. I've seen them get even bigger than 14"... more like 20". Definitely left to those with huge tanks, as in hundreds of gallons.

Though theyre a real nice fish, yes. After seeing they can get to a whopping 20"+, not just 14", I wouldnt get it. IMO, there are fish out there just as nice, like a blonde naso or something, that dont need quite as much room.

I change my vote to no lol.

i have a 110g but its deep and wide and not long
im not donna get it
my friend had him in a 75g
a guess thats why he wants to get rid of it
