Newest Addition (bellus angel)

Here is the newest addition to my fish clan. She is a female bellus angel. Completely reef safe and beautiful.

Very nice.Do you intend matching her up with a male?
You may live to regret the completely reef safe comment.I had a male that loved nibbling on various coral polyps so i think the term "reef safe" is just a general guide and doesn't apply to every bellus.Mine was especially fond of munching zoas and taking chunks out of my hammer coral.

if underfeed anything is going to eat corals, but if you feed good you woulnt have a problem. very nice addition

they will stay female unless you introduce another Bellus angel to the tank. at that point one will convert to male.

they have also been known to convert back.

i love the Genicanthus angels.
