New Tomato Clown is EVIL !!!
I got a Tomato clown about 1 1/2" so not too big.
IT IS EVIL !!! It has been keeping the Percula Clown , Damsels and chromis all in the back of the tank behind the rock.
What are some -$10.00 fish i could get for a replacement since it is going back !!

i do not know of any fish that is under $10 besides the damsels and thier relatives the clowns. sometimes you can find a firefish under $10.
i did manage to find a banner flagtail for $6, but that was a shot in the dark. it was shipped by accident so it was put in with the damsels.

Tomato clowns are known to be mean.
Might want to look into gobies or blennies you can get them for around $10-$20 each

I had one that would try and kill just about everything in the tank. You just need to find a fish that bites back. I added a pink tail trigger and now the tomato is the most docile fish in the tank. Sometimes you need a fish to put the bad ones in their place.

Since i have not built the sump to house the UV Cleaner so I can get some other critter I rearranged the tank rocks completely differant since doing this the T clown has chilled out for now.
called the lfs i bought him from and they were kewl with me ringing him back bu i cant catch the dam fish.
Hopefully with the tank being changed and repeated attacks of the net he will stay chilled out for awhile until everyone can be freinds.
Now how has DIY instructions on a 29g sumps :P

So far so good , he has been staying to him self but still schools with the rest of the tank as well. have not witnessed any agression from him at all. Lucky me , rather lucky for him.

Territoriality
Ok, I figure that you do not have an anemone for the different clownfishes in your tank. Therefore, the Tomato is considering the entire tank it's territory. Everyone in it is a target. I did not go to your link for your tank, but I guess that it is not very large. So another thought was why put two different species of clowns in there when they do not do that in the wild? The only thing you can do is remove the offending clown or try pacifying it with an anemone. If it is a wild caught clown then it should move into the anemone very quickly. Then it will defend it, but not venture very far from it. Thus leaving the rest of the tank to the other fishes. Just a thought. Good Luck!

sounds about right. I had a similar problem with my tomato clownfish. It bullied my ocellaris (the ocellaris was twice its size too and more expensive). Come to think of it...it nipped at my damsel too. That tomato clown was tricky to catch (believe or it, THEY ARE FAST!).
I will say that tomato clownfish are very hardy and one could easily keep one in a 5 gallon tank and it would live for years (literally). You might be a able to find 3 or 4 chromis' for 10 bucks. They're pretty cool schooling fish. I don't think dottybacks are too much theses days or even gobies.
