Question

Mollies in Reef Tank

I have had good luck with Mollies in my 75 gallon reef. I keep predominantly soft corals and a few large polyp stonies. Acclimation can be very quick (<3 hours) and for the price and their beauty they can be beat.

They also are voracious algae eaters.

Has anyone else tried to keep these in a reef.

I've done it, I had one in my 15G for some time, until a fish I had in there started picking on it, then I acclimated it back to fresh and put it back in my 180 FWP.

yep, i have done it. i used to recommend using them to cycle a tank. they were a lot easier to catch than damsels. that was before i learned about how LR does it for you.
