You really should get away from the brine shrimp idea. Training your mandarin to eat a food item with such a low nutritional value is not going to help much in the long run. Also, the fact that brine shrimp are not a natural food product for marine fish (brine shrimp are from salt lakes and ponds, not the ocean) means that a picky predator like a mandarin may not recognize it as a prey item. I think you will have much better luck with the frozen mysis.
