Lawnmower Blenny

My 24 hour new lawn mower blenny is not eating or grazing yet. Seems healthy and was active at the fish store. Is this normal behavior for these fish. Thanks for any advise.

sure, any fish may be a bit finicky upon introduction into a new system. did you see it eat at the store? usually I request that before purchasing a fish. also, what are you feeding it other than what's on the rock?

Maybe you don't have any algea in your QT tank.So till you move him over try Nori soaked in garlic and/or other algea flake food soaked in garlic.

Never saw it eat in the store. The Qt tank he is in is a small established mini bow with out of control algea. Live rock and sand only. The main tank 140g he is going in is fairly algea free. He seems active just ignoring any food or algea. The last one I had went carpet surfing but started to graze immediatly.
