I'm setting up a 55gal tank and have chosen some fish but wanted to get some outside thougt as far as compatibility and if there will be enough room when they are mature.
Here's the fish
Clown
Blue regal tang
Flame angel
Spiney box puffer
Volitan lion
I also plan on putting some inverts and a few easier corals
I'm running a penguin 330 filter coralife 65g skimmer hydor #4 PH Approx 50lb LR

Nope not in a 55. First off depending on what kind of lion it is the get to big for a 55 and so will that tang and the puffer. The angel and the clown are fine.

Not to many but eh tank is way to small for the tang, any tang. They need space to swim.

+1. Regals are usually good for 100 and bigger they need lots of swimming room. So as far as being too many fish for a 55 (5 fish) then no, however size-wise yes too much. Good luck and would love to hear from updates!

For a 55, you need to be thinking 1 clown, gobies, blennies, maybe a six-line wrasse, maybe a royal gramma. Anything "big" is just too much of a bioload.
