I just noticed that I've gotten an Ich infestation in my 14G biocube.. I noticed little white spots on the
Royal Gramma yesterday, after I had been noticing that he was rubbing against the rocks more than usual. The only other fish I have in there is an Ocellaris Clown and it looks to me like he is still unaffected, but from what I hear it's only a matter of time, and I don't really have the option for a QT tank. Im really new to saltwater, (any kind of water in general lol..) and any advice is really appreciated! Im feeding a good amount and trying to keep water quality up w/ frequent changes, and I was looking into dosing garlic with the formula one pellets I've got and was wondering if what I'd gotten at Krogers would work. It's Howard's
Garlic Juice, and the only ingredients are garlic juice, vinegar, and salt. I don't know if the vinegar in such small amounts would really affect the pH too much, since it would be a pretty small amount, but I know it's supposed to lower it since it's acidic. Maybe if i just keep testing every couple days..?
Thanks for the help!
..don't want to lose all my fish 3 months into my first tank!
