I Purchased Him To Help With The Different Worms In The Tank. I Was Told Not To Feed Him For A Bit. What Do You Think?

do you have alot of fireworms, tubeworms, or flatworms? if so he will eat them up.. if thats the case i would agree not to feed him for a few days. If you wanna see him and you have some live feeder shrimp put a few in and see if he comes out. i would assume he is fine.

why wouldnt you feed it? it's not uncommon for new wrasses to do just that, and it should start coming out more often as it gets more comfortable.

I noticed a good amount of worms lately thats why i bought the wrasse. I have to buy some feeder shrimp and try it if I do not see him soon. I'm going on 48 hours and still have not seen the fish. I'll starting to get worried!!! I've heard that they will starve to death if they are scared enough? really... i really hope he is fine.

not terribly rare, but worth some concern. I'd still be offering it food. Not much you can do, though, outside of tearing the tank down to look for it. Personally, it's not worth the effort. Even if you found it there's not much you could do for it afterwards.

good news, did you see it eat anything? I imagine it's snacking on inverts it can find, but taking to prepared foods is a good sign as well.

my wife would keep a look out for it while i'm at work. it was so funny because she called screaming "she's out, she's out!!" lol when I came home from work she was out for a while going back and forth from end to end over and over. I did not see it eat but I'm planning to buy some feeding shrimp today and see what happens. thanks you for all the support.

And one last question, what other fish do you have in there with it? That can cause some of this type of reaction as well.
