Help Please!!!

I am trying to catch a purple pseudochromis that i have in my 72 Bowfront. He is a pita and is trying to kill my new six line wrase. I set in front of my tank for hours during the weekend trying to catch it with a net and tryied the bottle trap but had no luck. Anyone have any other ideas on catching this guy before he kills any other fish. I think he is the guy that killed my shrimps and probably killed my mandarin fish. If any one had any luck with other methods please let me know. I might try a line and hook but im nervous that the other fish will bite first. Please help.

the best method i have found is to wait till night with the aquarium lights on.....then turn all the lights off in the aquarium and use a black net to catch it....generally they can't see a thing and you just net them up no problem....

trying to net with the lights on will never work, unless its a real laid back fish

I recently had to catch a fish & this is what I did.
I didn't feed the fish in the morning & than at night I put some flake/mysis in a clear critter cage. With the critter cage filled with tank water I let the food settle to the bottom. Once all the food settled I completely submersed the cage & turned it sideways so the fish could see/smell the food. It took about 10 minutes to catch the fish, but all the fish swam inside trying to get the food.

i caught two clowns just by being slow and patient with a net. Any other time, I've usually torn down my rockwork.

There's a device called a SlurpGun..Not sure how well it works but it basically just vacuums a fish int a net..seems pretty efficient.
