HELP! My new rabbitfish is missing.

Since I put him in yesterday, I've only observed him swim a little the evening he went in. Today, he cannot be seen anywhere. It is an 29 gallon bare bottom tank. Is this normal behavior for a rabbitfish? My parameters were ok the last I checked. Worried owner.

Maybe he hoped out,try a carrot.Sorry I better go to sleep!I hope he's hidding and getting use to the tank.You could try a red lens flashlight at night in a dark room.

yeah just give it a little time . i have found rabbitfish to be alittle shy at first , but it will come around !

I have bad news- my wife helped me find him and he was in bad shape. I moved him over to the 125 gallon tank but he didn't make it. He was a bit skinny but seemed to eat well at the store. I guess my 29 gallon tank has more problems than I can tell. He never seemed to settle in at all. Right now, I have this empty pit feeling.
