Flame angels are pygmy angels so you have a chance of them nipping @ corals. I have never personlly had that type of pygmy. I have personally kept a Coral Beauty and I currently have a Midnight Angel aka Black Nox Angel I feed it often mysis and formula 2 pelette and I have yet to have a coral eaten.

ditto. Mostly I hear that they don't eat corals, but them being angels it's not a guarantee. I want to get a cherub angelfish so bad..soon

They are absolutely not reef safe. Do a search on here, this same subject comes up repeatedly with many asking for advice on how to catch them once the carnage start. Many people will give you the typical 50/50 chances. In my opinion, it's 50% they will nip right away and 50% they will start within a year or two.
Sooner or later, you will put something tasty looking in your tank and your friendly flame will turn into a coral eating monster.

clams and corals (particularly LPS and softies) are likely to be nipped with a pygmy angel. definitely not worth it unless that fish is the priority of the system; not worth the chance if you're tank is built to be a coral display.

I don't think this is 100% true I work with several customers that keep angels in a reef tank for several years though the life of the fish with no problems at all but I also have customers that get an angel and the destroy the tank

Ithink it mainly is on the fish for instance that doest burrow. It just chills and sleeps on a powerhead.

I have heard stories but have never had any problems with my flame my 90. If you want a list of what I have in their be happy to send to you. It seems its hit and miss but as I said in my experience its a really timid fish that seems pretty content with everything.

I've never had good luck with pygmy angels of any sort. I always end up getting nippers.
Now I just avoid them all together.

In my past experience no angel is reef safe. Or atleast not completely. Typically I think they find a taste for certain corals.
