Fish for my AP 24. Cant be too shy.

I am looking to add some fish in the next couple weeks. Tank is empty minus the CUC and has been up for 4 weeks.

I hate fish that hide all the time cant stand it! But I am not a big fan of fish that just beg like a puppy and dont show any kind of normal behaviour when I am in the room.

What are some fish to avoid as they hide too much.

I was thinking about getting gobies (clown, watchman, orange spot, court jester goby) and maybe a fire fish or Harptail Blenny or a Harptail Blenny but might eat my shrimp then maybe a sixline last so it wont pick on the others...but will see. I thought about a royal gramma but heard they can hide etc at times. I also thought about clowns but I heard they more fun to watch as a pair but seems everyone has one.

I vote for Clowns, they will easily be the most entertaining fish in your tank Also a watchman is a nice addition, Firefish are iffy on them being out when you are around. I have 3 and one of them is out all the time, another is out about half the time and the third is hardly ever out.

yeah, they get about that, but they aren't terribly active so they would do fine in your tank

Biu-color blennies are cool with tons of personality. I would second the clowns and just because everybody has them doesn't mean you have to get the same ones they have. You could get some black and white ocellaris, or maybe some picasso or snowflakes if you still wanted to be somewhat different.

I loved my Royal Gramma. It hid a lot for about the first 2 months but then was out all the time after that.
