An infection could be suspect, but are there any other fish in the tank with it? Could be signs of aggression.

Ok, after reading another post about your territorial tang, then I'm going to say you have aggression problems in your tank. If the problem persists, you may want to isolate the fish or risk stressing them to the point of ich.

Stress can make fish susceptible to a variety of pathogens already in a tank. Ich is either in a tank or it is not. If there is no ich in a tank no amount of stress will make your fish get it.

But yes, I think aggression is your most likely culprit and removing a fish is the best course of action.

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.
