was fine all day today then just as i'm about to go to bed i saw this...what is it and how do i cure it????

It is popeye, and not in all cases but most is caused from a scratch or injury they have gotten to the eye from either something pickin at them or bumping and rubbing against something that caused the scratch, if that is the case it should heal in time, other causes you can find are gas levels in your tank and disease which is usually the lesser of the possibilities in my experience. someone else should hop in soon with a little more info for ya.

Is it a Saddleback? If so they are notorious for getting popeye. In some cases this species of clown seems to be suspetible to various maladies that effect the eye like parasites, bacterial infections, etc. They are also very active and I am sure they get their fair share of bumps and brusing of the eyes.
I would still try and find some medicated foods just to be on the safe side.
