I have had a sabae and maroon for over 3 years in Vho lighing 18" under the bulbs and later on in a larger tank Near the top under 250 watt 14K halides And the anenome was thriving in both places.
As far as the clown I will say Mine has always had this sebay HOWEVER. Lately he has waonder away from it for longer periods of time than before and goes down to the bottom of the tank and moves the sand on the bottom away from the entrance to a open ended cave/ tunnel that I made of live rock and spends a great deal of time there with the scribbled
rabbit fish . He seems to want a larger opening? I have noticed that when they mate they move the sand around and maybe its just making preperations for mating even if there is no mate in the tank! In wich case theordeal of getting an anemone just to stop the sand blowing wont help at all :-(
Good luck in whatever you choose to do And I am only 3 years into this so You may know alot more than me anyway bye for now :-)
