A good fish combination
What would be a good combination. Its a 65 G reef tank will be mostly sps, and a clam open sand bed, The rock structute is elevated, SSB not DSB.
I have 2 black & White clowns, waiting for an BTA.
No crabs just snail and a cleaner shrimp, and candy shrimp.
You can see how the rockwork was done here

Great job on the rock work. It is very well done. It is so very unique looking.
I had a Yellow Tang with a black and white clown, the Tang hated that clown fish. It would slash at it with its tail all the time. Recently the tang got him and sliced open the clown fish. I got rid of the tang, and the clown has healed up. I cant understand the aggression, the tang never went near my orange clown.

Thanks, i though about that. But this is an experiment at many levels, i never did this before, the tank has a Calfo coast to coast overflow, desing by my buddy, not proven yet and also clear( we'll see the detritus in the overflow, so i hope for coralline real soon) but some sps corals on magnet will also go on the glass. So the back ground will be coverd with something. As for effect the clear glass makes it even more deep looking as it reflects on the white wall and you think the tank is 3 feet deep, so effect is quite good actually. The shimmering light bounces of the wall so you think there's a cave at the back, real cool. The pluming is unseen either so also a plus, i took great care for that. But we realise there 're limits to hide everything and it has to be functional. We learned that the hard way lol.

i keep a rusty with clams, sps, lps, zoas, mushrooms, and xenia. i have had coral beuties, flames, and rusty angels in all my reefs over the years. this is the only one i have ever seen pick and it does it rarely. it hit my big maxima for about a week then quit, then hit my acan for about a week and quit. i saw it pick a stalk of xenia once and never do it again. i used to keep xenia with my aggressive fish. it must taste really bad. i watched a queen angel hit a stalk once and swim away in a hurry. my sps corals polyp out fine. my milli's never close up and my other acros polyp sometimes but i don't think the angel has anything to do with it.

Basiles what are you looking for bright colors. I personaly like engineer gobies. They start out small will 2 basic lines of black and white. As they mature they will (does'nt take long to morph) morph with a little white black and yellow. It will dispaly a more wiggled or yet jagged pattern. A plus is that they will make a burrow and the shift sand.

I thnk that a dwarf angel will be awesome. My favorite is a Black Nox Angel(aka midnight angel. Wrasse wise I think 2 Canary wrasse will be awesome I believe Crv had 2 in his reef.

Your angels are notorious coral nippers. I never had success with them although I've heard people have them and their not a problem so its a crap shoot. Definitely would avoid adding more clowns in a tank that size. Theres a lot of different kinds of blenny's, wrasses and such that will do great and add a lot of character to the tank.

I recall reading that crush coral will start to hurt the wrasse from burrowing. Do you see any damage to your wrasse when burrowing?
