55gal stocking question
Okay I got a 55gal tank that i havent even filled up with water, but i'm already thinking of the critters i want. It will be a FOWLR and it probably wont have a sump. Also the lighting will be just a standard flouresent that come with the tank, hopefully only for a little bit. What i want is this: firefish, clownfish of some type, royal gramma, flame angel, manderin, scooter blenny, chocolate chip starfish, cleaner shrimp, and a clean up crew eventually. I know that i probably wont be able to get all these fish but thats just what i want. I just wanted to know your thought on these fish.

the mandarin and scooter blenny eat copopods, so they're harder to keep. I loved my royal gramma, but he didn't live long, the pseudochromis isn't as pretty, but oh well :P

I think you'll have one colorful tank!
My main concern is the lack of a sump/fuge. I think it would be a wise investment (not to mention better for your inhabitants).
Checkout http://www.melevsreef.com on how to make one inexpensively.
You'll need a fuge "teaming" with pods to sustain them. Also, I wouldn't put one in until your system has matured 9 months minimum.
The flame should be the last fish introduced.

I think overall that might be too many fish, even though they're small. You might want to stick w/ only 5. Also, you should stay away from the mandarin. They need lots of pods and your tank is probably too small to produce enough. If you really want one anyway, wait at least a year for your tank to build up some pods or it will starve. You'll see some right away from the rock and it will seem like a lot when you clean the tank, but they need a lot.

As far as I know all of the fish should be ok except for the flame one. I have a clown and a royal gramma and just introduced a 6-line, and they were fine. You could always do the mirror trick to distract one fish when you introduce another. I don't foresee any big issues, though.
What I would be more interested to learn is, in what order should you get them?
As a big fan of mandarins, I agree with what's already been said, too. You'd be amazed at how quickly your pods will disappear after you get a mandarin, even if you think you have plenty.
Good luck!

Yes, cc star will be fine in a fowlr and I don't think the flame angel will eat the cleaner shrimp so it should be okay as well.
Good luck with everything once you get started.
