Is it too late to jump in this trade? I think I'll be ready in about a month... (which will give you guys some time to grow out more frags!) I'll try to post pictures soon.

hehe i guess i should look at what i type...
a nice water change will help some...
how often are you feeding that?
frozen foods and the sea weeds are nortorious for knocking the phospate levels up a bit

i would suggest feeding every few days only.
for the frozen food, thaw it in RO water, drain it and place in more RO water. that will help.

what am i doing wrong?
probably a million things, but i was wonderign if you guys could tell me what is goign on with my zoes. they seem to be spreadign very slowly (if at all) on one side of this rock anf on the other and on top have closed up and look as if they've never opened. almost like tiny little tombstones. heres a picture, i noticed there are 2 living with them, one i can see 90% of the time but is easily spooked (lives ina rock like tube with a red fan like filter sticking out. the other i have only seen once when i accidently lowered my tank temp to 72.5 degrees (the zoes were doing this before the water change) it had a white circular filter with no visible tube. im tossign ina few pictures. the only other coral int he tank is a 2 inch capnella that seems to be doing very well. as always any help will be very appreciated. thanks --Erik

My guess about the zoas not opening would be either sundial snails or zoa eating nudi's, both are pests and will eat zoas if you have them. Also, if they came from a tank with different lighting and/or placement, they will do this when acclimating to the new lighting.
What is living with them?????? Quote "i noticed there are 2 living with them"

haha, that'd be my fault for not realizing i hit the insert key, there are 2 worms livign with them is what i meant to say. i havent noticed anyone but my hermit crabs botherign my coral. but my lighting is definatly different, there under 130watt of compact floursecents, and im pretty sure they were under halides before. (got them from liveaquaria.)

Here is my contribution to the zoo pics. The blues and the greens are from a LFS and the orange/reds are from a local reefer.

Thanks. The green ones were from Atlantis (1 week ago), Blues were from OceanReef (LFS) and Mecold gave me the reds. LOL Keri put 1/2 the blue frag in his tank and his silly pistol shrimp took off with them and buried them somewhere. We're hoping he'll dig them back up soon and that they have survived.
