Zoa Toxins

ok i know that zoa's carry the Nuerotoxin ''palytoxin'' but EXACTLY how dangerous is this toxin.my hands crack & bleed every winter so if i touched them could i be paralyzed or killed..also if they die is that toxin released into the water..i have NO skimmer or UV sterallizer on my system.

It can be deadly.

The best defense is to wear gloves whenever working in the tank.

WOW..lool i had 7 polyps before i even knew what they were..they used to keep falling off the shelf all the time so i had to handle them alot, i had slime all over my hands..sometimes didnt even wash my hands before touching my face..i have never used gloves .
