Xenia 'melted'
a blue colony just kind of melted on me today.
when i removed it from the water it just disintegrated and fell apart.
I noticed when i put the rock it was attatched to in a bowl that there were several thin straight long bugs in the water that dripped off the rock. Im going to guess that these werent good bugs to have.
It had been close to my PH until i moved it across the tank to a more sheltered area where it started its descent into 'melting'.
Any ideas what could happen or why it did this?
