What Happend To My Mushrooms

I Have A 180 Gallon Reef With Several Mushroom Colonies For About 1 Year Now. Recently I Added 2 Peppermint Shrimp, A Rabbit,a Naso,a Yellow Eye Cole And Sailfin Tang. Today I Noticed That Several Of The Purple Mushrooms Were Gone. Have They Been Eaten Or Could It Be An Element Inbalance, Calcium/magnesium/iodine? The Other Mushrooms Seem To Be Ok. Please Advise

I don't know if fox will eat corals...I'm thinking I have heard stories about it but ma unsure. Peppermints have been known to eat polyps so IDK if they could possible eat a shroom as well. Did they just disapear or waste away?

could be a slew of different things; water parameter issue, lighting problem, predation (from an invert or a fish), etc. Unless you witness predation, I surely wouldnt assume it, but I have heard of rabbitfish eating softies.

It's the stuppid Rabbitfish, the *******. I bought it to graze alge and he wont even touch it. He has however wipped out my mushroom colonies exept the bullseye and hairy and now has started on the button polyps. Whats next? and I can't catch him he as gets in behind the rock. I wonder if he would bite on a hook and worm? I'd shoot him with a spear gun if I could.
