"weedy zoos"

There are some "ugly weed" brown zoos growing in w/ my nice orange ones and of course the ones I don't want are growing faster. Is there a good way to selectively remove individual polyps?

tweezers sometimes work, and if you're good with a syringe some kalk paste can nuke them. but, you've got to be careful not to get the kalk paste in any concentration on other corals/polyps.

I have accidentally hit them with kalk paste before and it was fairly effective. Although that is not the result I was looking for at the time.

Good luck Traci.

hmm, I'll give the tweezers a try, squish and pull huh? Its a tight area, and I don't want to accidentally get the nice ones with a kalk paste.

If you get it low with the tweezers, you're likely able to pull it entirely off without squishing it too much. Be warned, though, this is a very good time to wear gloves if you're going to be destroying zoas.
