Question

Tube anenome

I have a tube anenome that is pretty long. When I changed the size of my tank to a bigger size he made a new hole in his tube,so now the first 1or 2 inches of his tube he is not in and it just sits on top of the sand bed, (a great little place for those pesty flat worms! I guess my question is since he is not using it and it is still attached to him can I cut it off without hurting him?

I have looked real close at him and it dosnt look like there would be much to cutting that small piece away. Any suggestions and maybe how to would be greatly appreciated.

hmmmm. as long as you dont see any of him in it then a small snip should be fine.
as long as him does not use that part of his "body " at all
