Things that make you go hmmm. Advise Needed

Can anyone tell me what's going on with my leather? After being moved into my tank, it deflated and hasn't recovered. It has looked like this for about 10 days. Any ideas?

Bad acclimation, most likely osmotic shock... Don't mess with it, its either going to live or its not. Back your lighting down a couple hours to reduce further stress.

Thanks for the advise. I will try limiting the lighting. I acclimated it for about an hour and a half when I put it in, but my lighting is definately more "intense" than the LFS.

Ha what are the chances. I spent a half hour trying to think of a clever name and it looks like I somewhat copied yours. And I'm from the Phoenix area too.

Anyway larger leathers can crush them selves when they grow out and then get moved. The base cannot support itself out of the water, even for a short amount of time. The base might rot out, just leave it be for now.
