I have a bunch of different types too...some grow faster than others...I do find that leaving them in one place and letting them get settled helps...after several weeks in the same spot they get adjusted to lighting, flow, etc. and them often without notice take off spreading.

Can you post a picture of the pink polyps?

It is kind of funny because we have members of a reef club here that have given a certain type of pink paly to all of the other members for free because they were spreading too quickly and now everyone else is having the same problem.

You may need to look for an LFS that doesn't know anything about them.

Yup, they look just like the pink palythoas that I was talking about.

Let us know if you find an LFS that will let you trade in some of them. You could get a good amount of store credit building up with as quickly as these things usually multiply.
