Looks like Pachyseris foliosa common name would be Lettuce or Leaf coral and is common in the Solomon Islands.

how weird! how big is it? Is it always that color? I've never heard of it so that's why I'm asking a lot of questions. How did you go about getting/finding it?

another common name is "elephant skin".

It is about 5 inches in diameter. It pretty much stays the same color all the time. My LFS does the maintance on my tank and sometimes he will add corals for me. So I get a suprise now and again when I come home
