new gsp not opened in 4 days?

its was beautiful at the lfs..brought it home acclimated for an hour..half opened that day..closed when lights went out..and has now stayed closed up since then..is this pretty common for gsp? should i just give it more time?
the colony is on lr and deep purple..i do see a few white tips starting to show but nothing more than that

Very common... Just leave it alone and it should start opening again in a few days to a week.

Give it time....all corals will react differently. It took 3 weeks for some of my kenyas to open fully.... Just put the gsp in one spot and don't move it at all until it opens.

ya very common......my metallic stars did that and then when they would open my scarlet hermit would knock them over and they'd start all over....

but now he is outa my reef and they have attached to their rock and doing great.....

thanks everyone..i was starting to get worried because its a big very nice colony..was hoping it was gonna be ok
guess ill let it get settled in and see how it goes

aquaman777..same here with my kenyas..i was just about to take mine out because they had never stood up for like 2 wks..then the next day they were standing proud lol
