New corals info needed
i got some new corals todays two toadstools i think  (new too this) and some hairy green mushrooms, my question is do you have too put some distance between the corals? ive read some let off toxins and sting other corals, ive attached a pic i took it just after i placed them, any advice would be greatly appreciated , i also got an orange star fish

Congrats on the new corals. They look far enough away from each other to not cause any problems for quite a while. Best of luck with them and the star.

does anyone no anything about these starfish ive read up and found they need a quite mature tank to survive? ive got a post going on 3reef.com under the coral section if anyone wants too look?

Yes they do need a well stable tank and I hear hard to keep long.

Looks like an orange linkia starfish, do you know exactly what it is? Indeed, they are often very challenging to keep long term and often starve in captivity due to the availability of diet.

it is a linkia its been stuck too the glass for the past 24hrs so i placed it on a piece of rock and it was off crawling all over it, eating i hope its been in 4days ive not noticed anything bad upto now i hope its ok, will they scavage?

how long did you have him before he died mines been in a week tomorrow and its still roaming over rocks and stuff seems to be ok?

mine madde it a few days after arrival...4 i think....seemed ok in the beginning.....crawling around and all and then he stopped moving and spit out his stomachs and died......i thought he was digesting a large piece of food since they do that if there food is too large.....but that wasnt the case with mine......
i noticed he was dead when the narcius(SP) snails tried to bury him......

they will but most need feeding.....ive been told to feed them silversides and other meaty foods and also some dried seaweed......
but im sure someone here with more experience with them will have other options as well........
the blue is the hardest to keep from what ive read......orange is supposed to be easier but still iffy.....
