well since i got this frag from the neighbor the size has about doubled. Also the tank has gotten past the alge cycle boom since switching to water from the RODI unit.
I am starting to see small little grain of sand like things on it. Some of them are sticking out while others appear just below the surface. Will take a picture tomorrow.

Those small spots are probably some polyp expansions!

yup , was confirmed to be a Toadstoll. Having a heck of a time raising this little guy.
Although the size of it had doubled till falls over to one side when perched on something.
I was getting little rice size things sticking out for awhile but after I got a real monticap and both my xenias split I had to do some rearranging and the toad is back to being pissy again.
Seems to like the middle of the tank mostly and mild current which doesnt match what i have been reading about it. Oh well keep on keeping on suppose.

Well I have since upgrade again my lighting to MH/CP setup and this guy is doing SOOOO much better.
