Question

I need help!

Good morning everyone! I could use some help. I am new to this site and still trying to figure it out. I think I posted this on another forum, but did not get a response. Can one of you help.

I have a blue tang that is showing signs of Ick. We purchased Lifeguard from Instant Ocean to get rid of it, however, after purchasing it, we noticed it said, "not suitable for invertebrates". We have an arrow crab and a brittle starfish. Has anyone ever used this product who also had invertebrates, and if so, did it harm them?

I have never used the product. But due to stating not invert safe it most likely contains copper which is deadly to inverts. Also did you quartine the tang when you treated it? If you applied it to you dt(display tank) you might have infected you lr. You might be wondering "infected" pretty much your lr has copper in it now is what I mean.

Sorry, I didn't see the link at first for some reason.

Also to clarify it is 14 rics for $99, but you will also get a blue legged hermit crab for every $5 you spend so you are looking at 20 hermits as well. Priority overnight shipping is $35.

Here is a link to a thread where Gabriel purchased from them and was very happy with the results. He also posted pictures of what he got for the money. http://www.thereeftank.com/forums/f6...an-134759.html
