New Green Frilly/Fuzzy/Hairy Shroom I picked up this past week. Already about 3 inches across. Person I got it from had several that were over 8 inches across!

Update: finally my red mushrooms started to grow - almost half-year later. Placed them in much higher light - around 1 ft from 55W PC (with 110W on they open better). pH, nitrates and phosphates didn't matter (the last two are higher than in previous tank, actually).
Easy to keep, low light, undestructible... Not for me. LPS are much more easier and less demanding.

Hairy mushroom (neon-green center, flesh-colores hair) is less light - it takes a low light (18W 50-50 PC min), high nithates and phosphates (working on it) - actually, grows good, but doesn't appreciate 30% or more water changes. In 6g:

What color would you call these? They seem to go from a reddish to a blue depending on how open they are. I know they aren't all that uncommon, but no matter what the color I love them.

Here's an updated pic of my Green Hairy Shroom (see post #76). It's now about 7 inches across when fully open.
