seeing as how I'm XeniaGirl, I figured it's expected for me to post on here.
My xenia is crazy - I literally have to take bunches of it to the LPS once a month or so. I guess that's a good thing.
My old maroon clown used to host in it too. My current clown, however, prefers my mushrooms.

Weatherman...that is impressive. What kind of Xenia is that? It does not look like the pulsing kind I see at my lfs.

You guy's that grow xenia like there is no tomorrow make me sick. I can grow the elongated xenia but not the pom pom. I've tried different lighting, iodine, turning my skimmer off, kalkwasser to keep my ph above 8.2, different levels in my tank, ect. This is the coral thats a thorn in my side for the past 5 years and I've yet to figure it out. It just stays the same size then finally melts away in 6 or so months.....I've spent thousands on this crazy coral, but I WILL figure it out...

Heres some of my Heteroxenia sp. Sometimes I think something is wrong and it has grown too tall which makes it a pain to keep out of the powerheads.
