Yep that is a good blue xenia that pumps.The secound is a little more common xenia. Known as YEX or Yellow Encrusting Xenia. It has no stock but pules very well.

This is what most people call "blue xenia" but is Blue Cespitularia, This is what sells for $$$. I have seen this for sell before never the Blue pulsing xenia as in the post above.

this stuff is like aquatic kudzu... holy sheep turds. I think it's pompom as it doesn't grow tall and pulses like crazy.. it even stays open in the moon lights...

(edit: grr, tops are over exposed.. sorry)

Here's a picture of my pulsing xenia - and one of my lime green palm xenia.

The pulsing xenia was sold as blue - and it's heads are blue when they are not extended, but since I put it in my tank, it has almost trippled in size, and looks more pink or lavender than blue. It is always extended now - and it has created 2 little offshoots already. Very active!!!
