Leather Coral Worries...

I have this leather coral (right on the picture) which seems to never fully extend his polyps.

I have attached a picture of it.

My water parameters are:
PH 8.0
Nitrite 0
Amonia 0
Nitrate 0
Phospate 0
Alk 9 dKH
Calcium 480 ppm

My lighting is a nova extreme 4x24w T5 system with the stock bulbs... looking at changing them for Geisemann's.

does anyone have any ideas??

what is the hieght of your reef? Also how long have you had the leather. Reason I ask this is due to Toadstools go through a growth phase where they retract thier polyps and shed a clear like mucuss.

The reef is 14" deep (20g nano) and the toadstool is around 6 or 7 inches deep. I've had it for around three months, but has always remained this way, never fully extending. It has shed the mucus layer several times over the te I've had him, but as far as I understood after they shed the mucus they should extend polyps.

Thanks in advance

Well, i dont think a fish is harassing it, all I have is a clown fish and a firefish. For flow I have a Hagen 301 powerhead that shoots the stream just above it, not directly at it...

You think it might be an issue of low flow?
