ID me please

I purchased some LR and this was on it. He called it a "ricordia" but I do not think this is right. I have described it and a few have said the mushroom family.

Can anyone ID this for me please?

I can't figure out how to place an image...It is a light maroon color and has various tubes coming off of it and they branch @ the end of the tubes. Looks like a mushroom only with tiny branches all over the top of the shroom.

Could be Zoanthus or Palythoa. Hard to tell with no pics. Look these names up and see if any come close.

Ricordia is a mushroom so it makes sense that the description would fit the mushroom family.
