Question

How do you controll your BTA ?

Since getting my MH lighting my RBTA moved from the spot it was always in for the past months and moved up the glass to the very top of the tank and stayed there.

I moved it back down to the spot , next day it had moved back up again to the same spot.

Today I moved it to the oppisite side of the tank way down low. It moved up about 6 inches almost on top of a xenia and I moved some rocks around to a rock island not connected to any other rocks or glass.

I was worried about it being up high as some of the tenticles looked burned almost.

Anything else I can do or is this what most people do ?

I think you have to let it be and it will finally settle where it's comfortable. The roaming around is what made me decide I didn't want another anemone after I lost the first one

I just crazy glued my RBTA to a rock and put the rock in a place I wanted. J/k... Honestly, I don't think there is anything u can do . The lights through are obviously what is making the RBTA want to move around. Perhaps a lower photo period might help, or giving it a "shady" place...

Good luck.

You might try burying a piece of PVC amongst the rock and put his foot in. I read about it somewhere else, but the guy swore by it. You can buy some black elbow pieces in various shapes as well, and if done right, you won't see it at all. If it works and is showing, make some LR rubble and glue it to the pipe to hide.
