Help with Green Button Polyps

Just bought green button polyp frag from clearance section of LFS about a day ago. So far they remain closed almost all of the time. Is this normal for newly acclimated button polyps? How do you tell if they are dying or dead and is there anything I can do to help them survive? Thanks.

The lighting in the store was very weak and it was in a bigger tank. I think the flow in my nano cube may be stronger than the polyps previous tank and i also think my lighting may be a little more intense. Right now i have them at about mid tank level would you recommend putting these polyps closer to the bottom of the tank? Thanks for the quick response.

From what I have read and what I do is everything always starts out at the bottom and works it way up! Especially if you know your lights are that much stronger than theres. I would move him down and see what happens. Then gradually aclimate him to where you want him. JMO
Good luck
