Help

Moved a 2-year-old, well established reef tank on Saturday. 90 gallon, glass tank, sump, canister filter, skimmer & cooler. Tank has 8 fish and lots of healthy soft corals, leathers, hydras, mushrooms. The fish did well but the inverts are looking very wilted and do not seem to be recovering. Tank water is also very cloudy even after two days, very unusual as the filters have been very effective during previous tank cleanings.

Welcome to TRT! Did you use the same sand as before? If so how deep of a sand bed did you have? And did you keep the sand clean? It kinda sounds like you released alot of nitrates into your system and at high levels it is very harmful to inverts.

What are you tank levels like ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH, Ca, Alk.

yes welcome to TRT, i think your sand bed is the main reason, change out the filters as they become clogged up, that wiull help with the cloudiness.
hopefully theo corals will pop back shortly
