GSP and Mushrooms not doing well.

I have some other corals in the tank and all are doing fine, except those 2. The ph was low (7.8) and we have slowly been bringing it up over the last few days. I was able to get it up to 8.1, but decided to do a water change (nano 7 gal tank and replaced about 80%). Alk, cal, phos, salinity, etc were all fine.

I'm new to this, so I'm wondering if there is possibly something else going on, or are those 2 on there way out. Any suggestions??

Sounds like it may be chemical war. I would try running carbon.

We put alittle in on Wednesday, but it didn't seem to help the mushrooms or gsp any.

I just did the water change today so I'm hoping that will bring them back. If not, I don't know what else I can do.....

How did you put the carbon in? What is your ammonia, nitrates and nitrites and temp?

I'm new to all this, so let me see if I remember (a friend that knows helped out).

We put the carbon in a bag and placed it in the filter. All the other stuff was tested at a store and they told us all was well, but I can't tell you for sure what each was.

Temp is the only one I'm not sure of, but the tank is only 7 gals. It sits in my office, no windows and nice cool a/c, so I'm guessing that the temp isn't a factor, but I don't know that for certain.
