feather duster?

I am not too sure where to put this thread, so I put it here. I setup my tank for a FOWLR, but soon decided I want to put more invertebrates and some corals. I put all reef safe fish in there except a lemon peel (which I am now regreting since I want a clam). Would a feather duster be a good start to add something different than fish and rock? The tank has been running now for about 4 months. It has a kole tang, lemon peel, maroon clown with a bubble tip, sleeper goby, bi-color blenny, and 2 damsels.

if ur speaking of a Hawaiin Feather duster it should be ok and thats only if you like the looks...if ur running the right lights and have enough calcium ( which youu should due to water changes ) feather dusters uruallyh come with the rock ... they are a tubeworm and their bodys ( tubes ) use calcim to grow...if ur just looking for the normal white or red feather dusters then i would say just grab some cured premium LR from the LFS and in a few days u will see them on the rock in a couple of months they will be everywhere...but if ur going with the hawaiin one ( which are larger by far ) make sure you dont just throw him on the sand bed...mine womred his way through the bed and tookhold to the bottom of the tank so now when i go to do my tank swap idk if he wil make it im sorta leery to just rip him off becaus ei dont want to injur the lil bugger so i might clean the sand out from ardoun him and razor him off the floor...any thoughts on that process??? sorry this is sort of leading off the subject but you should be ok with one depending on the kind you wanna put in there ... just dont spend money on th elil guys they willl grow in time .
