Best way to attach?

I have a yellow leather and it has 2 small rocks attached to the 2 stems of it, I was just wondering because i want to remove the 2 small stones and attach it to one of the larger stones what would be the best and easiest way to do this without stressing it too much....

thanks

I would just rubberband it to the larger rock. You could try peeling it off the smaller rocks if you wanted to.

well thats what i thought but everything i have read about the yellow leather says to be cautious with it because it doesnt take well to change and moving it around so just wanted to be sure not to hurt it... its roughly 11inches in length..

thanks

The least stress would be to rubberband it as it is now to the larger rock

i use fishing line and a needle to attatch my leather frags to frag plugs. just thread the needle with the fishing line, pierce the base of the leather with the needle and fishing line and tie it around the plug or rock you want it to attatch to. mine 99% of the time attatch within 2 weeks. be sure to tie the line SNUGGLY around whatever you want it to attatch to.
i do yellow toadstool leathers ALL THE TIME, and they all make it to a new adult colony (unless the new owner kills them).
