They can be difficult to attach. Try filling a cup or somthing with some rubble. They attach to the rubble in a week or two and then can be glued. If you do try to glue them I've heard that if you wipe all the slime off the bottom then use super glue gel it works ok, but I haven't tried.

I use one of those clear plastic boxes they put your fish in before they bag it. I drilled a bunch of holes in it for flow, filled the bottom 1/4 with rubble and hang it on the inside of the tank. They ususally grab hold to a peice of rubble within 10days to 2 weeks

I used a small butter dish filled with rock put the mushroom in and rubberband a piece of pantyhose over the top so it gets lots of flow. Then I sink it into the tank and in about 5 days or so it has usually attached

Glue will work fine for mushrooms if you understand this:

You need to very aggressively remove the slime from the underside of the animal with q-tips so the glue can burn and stick to the flesh.....NOT the slime. It is brutal, will take a lot of q-tips and will irritate the animal enough that it will be ticked off for days(at LEAST).

The rubble in a bowl thing is the way to go for most people, then once attached you can easily glue the rubble they are on to another rock. I am more of an instant gratification guy myself so I DO glue them.

This is by far the best glue i have ever used. I primarily glue SPS, but this stuff is the thickest so it is easiest to work with and makes the strongest bond. Any super glue gel will work fine though. I do lots of gluing so it makes sense for me to buy the 200 gram tubes at a time of the stuff.
