My wife gets a little woozy after messing with zoanthids no matter if she washes her hands afterwards or not.

That would definitely be true for the smell of a dead turbo snail! That is a smell that seems to take a couple of days to get out of your nose.

i think too that when you have soft hands compared to rough hands it affects how things stink you or it could be a coensidence

How often do you have to empty your collection cup?
I understand with the water changes. For me it usually takes about 24 hours after a water change for my skimmer to kick back in. I do 5 gallon changes every 4 or 5 days though. I was just noting an observation that the lights affect the bioload in the system.

I have a autodrain on the skimmer cup. I clean it once every few weeks. It probably takes a few weeks to a month to fill the gallon jug.

I asked CPR about the piece, they said I should get it too. I also have problems with too many stray bubbles through the system.

I attached pictures of my setup.

Here is my anemone.

Sorry for the crappy pic. I had to shoot it through the top of the water. He is sitting on the curved side of my tank, so I can't shoot through the glass.
