whats the going rate for a large maze brain?

I found a football sized colony of maze brain forsale. It almost does not fit in a 5 gallon bucket. Colors are lime green with bright neon green centers. Seller is asking 300.00. I have seen silghtly smaller pieces forsale online between 70 and 120 dollars.

is 300 too much?

for a piece that large it truly is in the eye of the beholder.

If I am imagining the colors you say right it is a common color, so it wont command a high dollar on anything but size alone. To maybe answer your question a little........If you have room for it and wanted it, I dont think $300 is unfair by any means for a piece that size. I mean, have you ever actually seen one that big in person before?? Whoever is selling it is going to have a tugh time finding someone who has room for it, so you might get a few bucks off just by asking.

post a pic if you get it.

Yes colors are common. I have only seen one this size when diving. I am going to think about it and like you said the seller will have a hard time finding someone with room.

They really are in the eye of the beholder...

I have seen wild brains that big in the $75-$150 range.

If you like it and want it buy it.
