Please help ID

Me and my wife are not sure what these are. the white one looks to be spongy with ventracles growing out of it. the green one is only 1/4" tall.

The first one is a sponge. They're pretty cool and will spread to dark areas of the LR. The second one is a type of algae. I've had it before, but was never able to keep it alive. A small cluster of them would be cool because they almost glow.

sponge and an algae.... I was trying to find the name as people have had it before and someone found a name for it. I have it in my tank and just keep plucking it. It grows back but it is slow to grow and spread so it is not exactly an invasive pest.

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.

You can find some reading on that algae here, it's Neomeris annulata.
