Overnight this black spot appeared on my Leather
Toadstool. I haven't a clue what happened. It's been thriving in my 100 gal tank for 3 months. I've read as many of the posts as I can find on toadstools and can't really pinpoint my trouble with the others. I suspect maybe parasites or worms or even a possible poke from my long
spine urchin. I am far too novice to know anything else but am working and studying extremely hard to gain knowledge. The pictures below show the before and after photos I took to show the trouble black spot and what it looked like after I took an ultra soft brush to it. The spot basically flaked right off and left a sort of white spot. Please, can someone offer me advice on what it is and what I need to do. Water parameters have been very good for six months with water changes every two weeks.
